They say a tree might represent life

But then I live no life

Cause my roots were cut loose

So you may not rely on me

So look beyond the trees

Where mermaids you shall find

And you’ll know there are no shallows through the swinging of my tale

So dive into me

Into the depths

Where lights are harmless

And darkness is my home

And I know though your curiosity craves for me, you’ll prefer to stay by the tree, stuck on your anchor, mister sailor

For the ones who’ve dived… died

And I’d die too, if I went to you otherwise

For I don’t breathe the air of flying feathers

As you can’t inhale my dense waters

But listen!

Listen to my enchanted singing

And maybe, I’ll give you my hints

… of what it’s like to live inside

Me! My world! My soul! My depths!

But, careful… don’t you stumble over your edges

I’d never want you drowned

If you can’t have me real

At least do fantasize over my mirage

As I rest on random ruby rocks

Before your telescope lenses
