Your website needs to present important pieces of information relating to your product/service offering. Structure your pages logically and simplify your information to remove unnecessary clutter, allowing your user to easily pick up on what matters. Headlines should be specific and relate directly to the page content, with a focus on an outcome that would benefit the customer, this will encourage them to invest and read as they will know the benefit from the get go.

The easier it is to use a site, the more likely it will be used. Your site should have a consistent look, feel and layout across all pages that is congruent with your brand. Each page should have a clear goal for the user to accomplish and be easy for them to do so. Whether it’s just relaying information or getting them to interact with an online application/form.
