The Paytrium escrow platform

Paytrium is an escrow platform built on the Ethereum Blockchain. With the continued incorporation of cryptocurrencies into our society, it is becoming increasingly important to provide secure forms of transactions. That is exactly what Paytrium offers.

Due to the many advantages, more and more people want to accept cryptocurrencies as payments, be it for their business or for private use. The problem with this is that buyers have very little collateral. Due to the anonymity of cryptocurrencies, they usually have no opportunity to receive damages if they have received a broken or no product. They are completely dependent on the honesty of the seller.

We offer an escrow platform that represents both the interests of the buyer and the seller. With the following system we make it possible to sell products or services safely for cryptocurrencies:

1. The buyer sends the purchase amount, which gets locked within a smart contract. The seller receives a confirmation that the buyer has paid and can now ensure that he receives his money in case of a flawless delivery.

2. The seller will now ship the good and enter the tracking code on the Paytrium platform. The platform now tracks the shipment until the buyer has received it.

We would like to offer payments on our platform in most common cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin, for a fee of 0.7% of the amount sent. In addition, it will also be possible to pay with Paytrium tokens for 0% transaction fees.

Currently we are a team of two full stack developers. We run a web development and online marketing agency and have worked with some FinTech companies in the past. This means we have both experience in building online finance portals, as well as in the marketing of these.

What unites us, as well as hundreds of other crypto enthusiasts, is that we are both victims of the infamous Confido (CFD) exit scam. We were both part of the investors right from the beginning, because we were convinced of the idea and the concept behind the project from the very first moment.

The worse it was for us when it was clear the project would have no future. The belief in this idea and the desire to continue it have outweighed the grief and anger over the loss of our investments at all times, which is why we ultimately decided to create our own escrow service with the same core characteristics.

Q1/18: As a next step, we plan to do a small token pre-sale. An exact date for this is not yet known, but we think it will be in early January. We have to clarify a few things with our lawyers first.

Q1/18: According to our forecasts, in the first quarter of 2018 we will complete the development of the alpha version of Paytrium. This will then be publicly available and can be tested by anyone who is interested.

Q1/18 — Q2/18: Following the release of the Alpha version, the crowdsale of our token will take place. In addition, of course, work continues on the platform to release it to the mass as soon as possible.

Q3/18: In the third quarter of 2018, Paytrium will be ready for market entry. At the same time we will start a marketing campaign to gain momentum right from the beginning. We also plan to start developing plugins for most big shop systems (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, …) to make access to the Paytrium platform as easy as possible.

As already mentioned, we plan to carry out a small pre-sale in early 2018 to cover our ongoing costs for the alpha version development. This will only provide a very small portion of all tokens (about 5–10%) at a very reasonable price. We only want to collect the most necessary funds during this pre-sale because we believe you should be able to test our product before investing in it.

Following the release of the alpha version, the crowdsale will take place.

In total, 65% of all tokens will be sold during the the pre-sale and the crowdsale. We plan to raise between 1 and 1.5 million USD during these two sales. These funds are used for marketing (55%), product development (35%) and legal matters (10%). We believe that the biggest part of the money collected during the ICO should be used for marketing, in order to attract as many people as possible to Paytrium, giving us an edge over our competitors. We have already gained enough experience in this field and know that even the best platforms are often powerless against their competitors without marketing capital.

The remaining 35% of Paytrium tokens remain with the founders and the team. All tokens retained by the team will be locked for one year.

Since we feel very connected to the victims of the Confido scam, we would like to give some of the tokens to them for free. To what extent this will happen is not yet known. However, it is important to us that other investors can also receive these free tokens by participating to the project, so that nobody is disadvantaged.

As mentioned earlier, the Paytrium token is said to be the cheapest form of payment on the Paytrium escrow platform.

In addition, token holders will receive dividends from the revenues of the platform. All proceeds are paid out monthly to the token holders in the form of Ethereum. That’s why the team needs to keep about 35% of all tokens to cover the costs of running the platform.
