Bringing value

Hey guys, BT here.

I want to bring a point today. That is, when you are selfless, you begin to win.

This is counter intuitive to many. Because every man is supposed to do everything for himself, right? It’s part of our DNA. Evolution. Darwinism. Whatever you want to call it.

But a really funny thing happens when you give, give, give. When you bring value to others, it creates this force in the universe. It’s reciprocity. It’s action/reaction like Newton’s 3rd law. It’s karma.

Many has written about bringing value. There is a lot of logical explanations. So I won’t focus on that. You can check out the book “Give and Take” from Adam Grant.

But I truly believe, that when you give without expectations, like the way Mother Teresa and Gandhi give, you earn what I called “karma points.”

The karma points are not simply good deeds. Because good deeds are small and simple in nature. Karma points are more difficult to attain. They are about bringing significant value. They are not always logical. They are not always something you can explain. But they exist. Like the UFO, maybe?

So why would anyone do that? You say.

Because it’s fun.

It’s no different from helping that old lady cross the road, buying a slice of pizza for that homeless, and giving your coat to someone freezing outside the subway station.

The joy is so overwhelming that you get addicted. I know I am addicted. But you need to start first.

The karma points will all come back to you in different ways. Ways you cannot imagine. Ways that will blow your mind.

It’s so simple, yet so counter intuitive to most, so they fail to do. They are stuck everyday being selfish, greedy and self-centered.

I mean, if what you have been doing actually works, how come you are not successful now?

So, consider bringing value today. It will change your life.
