I Was Wrong About the Origins of the Pandemic Virus

Upon further review, the Covid-19 virus most likely did come from a lab

I believe when you are wrong, you should admit it. Last December, I wrote “The Five Biggest Lies About Covid-19.” Number one was “China created the virus in a bioweapons lab.” There is mounting credible evidence that the virus most likely leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). Whether the WIV is a bioweapons lab is debatable. But at the same time, the “natural” origin theory of the virus’ beginning looks to be an increasingly false narrative.

For the better part of a year, it was stated that “science” supported the natural origin of the virus. Yet, “science” could not identify the genetic sequence of the virus in any mammals. And no intermediate animal has been traced to confirm zoonotic spread. Then we learned that several workers in the WIV became so ill in November of 2019 that hospitalization was required. China, of course, has resisted any linkage to their lab. Instead, they are doing everything in their power to cover it up.

To quote Perry, “…The Chinese Communist Party’s official account of the virus is that it “jumped” from bats to humans at a wet market not far from the Wuhan lab. The city government was quick to close down that market, seal it off and provide the world with photos showing that the sealing had been done. Why were the authorities so swift and conspicuous? Because they suspected the wet market or because they wanted the world to? If they were certain that Mother Nature was the culprit, why silence their scientists and seal laboratory records?”

The more the CCP resists objective investigation, the more this looks like a cover-up of a laboratory leak. I am still doubtful of a purposeful release of the virus. Even in the context of a ruthless regime that has little regard for human life, who purposely…
