MobileRefunds at World Telemedia 2018

Our COO and CEO have returned to the UK, following a highly successful trip to World Telemedia 2018 — a conference for businesses involved in carrier billing and other alternative payment platforms.

From 8th — 10th October 2018, two of our leadership team had the pleasure of attending the World Telemedia 2018 conference in Marbella, Spain. The event was an outstanding success, not just for MobileRefunds, but for the conference as a whole: over 500 delegates were in attendance — a new record — and all of us here at MobileRefunds would like to wish organisers Telemedia Online a huge congratulations.

‘For us a business, the conference was a great and very encouraging experience,’ commented MobileRefunds COO, Adam Williams. ‘The vast majority of delegates we spoke to were very pleased to discover we exist — a service that allows businesses to refund transactions by crediting customers’ mobile phone accounts with the appropriate amount appears to be an idea that many people approve of.

‘We’d also like to take this opportunity to address a point that many people brought up when talking to us: that they’d love our service to be international,’ Adam continued. ‘Rest assured, this is a move we intend to make, however, we want to ensure we successfully roll out our service across the UK, with as many of the major MNOs as we can get on board, before we set our sights on international markets.

‘MobileRefunds is already available on the Three network, and we’re pleased to confirm that we expect to launch on O2 and EE by the end of November 2018, while we anticipate our service to be available on Vodafone by the end of Q1 2019 — hopefully by the time World Telemedia 2019 rolls around in October next year, we’ll be firing on even more cylinders than we are now!
