Life Is Either A Daring Adventure Or Nothing At All

One thing I like about myself is the fact that I love challenges. It is just the other day when I was sharing my life experiences with my friend. I remember thinking about all the experiences I’ve…

The Joy Of Peeing

Men Or Women: Who Has The Best Deal, When It Comes To Taking A Wizz?

Admit it. Everyone does it. It is an action that everyone enjoys, whether they want to ‘admit it’ or not. No one thinks about it tho, until they find themselves unable to participate in it. When you are unable to ‘do it’, suddenly it is all you can think about. And unlike sex ‘for instance’, hardly anyone wants to talk about it. So… what is it that I am talking about?

There is nothing more pleasant, then finally being able to ‘take a wizz’, after having had to hold it in for what seems like forever. That particular action probably elicits more sighs of pleasure, then the best sex that people are likely to have. And never mind what it is like to finally pee, after having suffered through having a blockage. At first if might burn, but then the intense relief sure makes up for the brief moment of pain (kind of like losing ones virginity, according to some folk). And yet… peeing, is the one bodily function, that is often the most ‘under appreciated’ by people.

Peeing is one of those mystical, most wondrous experiences, that people just do not appreciate enough. Kind of like breathing. You just don’t miss it, until you can’t do it. Peeing is an important function. Every time you ‘take a wizz’, your body is eliminating waste products that your body creates, when it consumes and digests food and drink. Urine contains urea, uric acid, creatinine, as well as certain other items such as the medicines that we consume. If these items were not removed, they would build up in our body, and make us sick.

As everyone knows, men and women generally pee differently. Most women prefer to crouch or sit (unless they don’t mind if it accidentally streams down their legs and onto their feet), while most men prefer to stand when peeing.

I admit… as a women, I kind of wish that I could pee while standing up, and not have to worry about it landing on my shoes. The thought of being able to just undo my zipper, take out my ‘equipment’, and just relieve myself against whatever acceptable surface was available, is something I envy. Meanwhile, as a woman, when out and about, I have to find a restroom or other discreet place, drop my panties (which uncovers my arse), and then sit or crouch, and pray that there is something available for me to use to wipe my whooha with after… all just to take a wizz.

The biggest issues that people have regarding peeing, are urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate issues. Three things that can make going to take a wizz, very painful.

Now let's look at kidney stones. They are particularly painful, as they scrape along your urethra, on their way out of your body. These are especially painful for men, as they have a much longer urethra. It can be agonizing for a male to pass a stone. Don’t get me wrong. Women suffer from them as well, but with the average man’s urethra being about 8 inches long, while the average woman has an urethra that is around 1.5 inches long… those ‘little bastards from hell’, known as kidney stones, have a lot farther to travel, when being expelled by a man.

On the other hand, UTI or Urinary infections, tend to plague women more then men. Our physical differences, are the reason that women suffer from these ‘harbangers of pain’, more then men. With our shorter urethra, the infection can easier travel up to our bladders, making women more prone to them. Our hormonal changes can also influence how often we get them. UTIs are more common in women than in men because their urethra is shorter and the bacteria need to travel a shorter distance to reach their bladder.

Also of note: It’s unlikely for a man to catch a UTI from having sex with a woman, because the infection is typically from bacteria already present in the man’s urinary tract. On the other hand, women can easily catch a UTI from a man during sex (I know ‘it sucks’ and is unfair. Just one more reason to ‘say no’).

Prostate issues however, are a purely male issue… unless you are hiding something * ‘cough. eh hem’. The prostate is a walnut-sized gland located between the bladder and the penis. The prostate is just in front of the rectum. The urethra runs through the center of the prostate, from the bladder to the penis, letting urine flow out of the body. If a male develops a problem with the prostate, it could affect his ability to pee. This is not good, if you are desperate to ‘take a wizz’.

Men as a rule, have a lot better time of it, regarding taking a wizz. First of all, they can ‘do it’ easier. They can ‘do it’ quicker, and they can ‘do it’ more discreetly. As long as they don’t get a blockage or infection, or develope prostate issues, they have it quite good.

Women however, have to deal with a lot of fuss and bother in order to take a wizz. While we do get blockages, they are easier for us to deal with, then they are for men. Also, we tend to get urinary tract infections a lot more often. Let's be honest. They seem to happen at the ‘drop of a hat’… or your ‘panties’.*wink.

Aside from our homes, the next most common place to take a wizz, are restrooms. When it comes to restrooms, women only have stalls. (Just another way that men are favoured above women.) It is not quite so easy for women, to take a wizz just anywhere. The issue of speed and our bodies shape, affects their ability to do ‘the job’ at the same speed, and in the same spaces a man might be able to (think ‘at the side of a highway’).

Men can basically take a wizz ‘almost’ anywhere (if they wished to). Also… Men’s restrooms tend to have more ‘places’ for them to pee. Along with the usual stalls, urinals often line the walls of men’s restrooms.

If medical issues are more of a concern to you, then women have it better. If being able to ‘get it done’ easier, is what you see as more important, then men have it better.

The issue of peeing, is subjective, when it comes to who has it better. You decide. I am sure that you will ‘just know’ what is true for you.
